Overview
Mano Palm Oil Industries Limited (MPOI) is a leading Liberian Palm Oil Corporation since 2016. In 2019 Mano Palm Oil Industries purchased Sime Darby Liberia, which was then named Mano Palm Oil Plantation (MPOP).
Mano Palm Oil Plantation is now amongst the leading plantation companies in Liberia with Palm Oil being the predominant crop covering 10,324.72 hectares.
MPOI has the capacity to export out of Liberia an average of 10,000MT per month of ECOWAS certified CPO and CPKO. This oil is originated from our plantation in addition to the strong partnerships we have with other players in Liberia.
Sustainability lies at the core of MPOI’s operations. We recognize that to succeed, we must embrace innovative methods and practices in palm oil production. While we are steadfast in adhering to NDPE (No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation) commitments, our primary focus has been on social and community engagement. We firmly believe that gaining the support and trust of the communities surrounding our projects is pivotal to our success.
MPOI actively contributes to the government of Liberia’s Poverty Reduction Strategy and the Economic Revitalization of Liberia’s Rural Economy. By creating jobs, providing extensive training in transferable skills, and investing in essential community infrastructure, we play an instrumental role in fostering positive change in the regions where we operate.
At MPOI, our dedication to sustainable palm oil production, coupled with our commitment to social responsibility, sets us apart. We are not just shaping the future of palm oil in Liberia; we are forging a path towards a more sustainable and prosperous tomorrow for all.
